It's the day of the show, y'all

I think this is my millionth post with that title.

TONIGHT! It opens tonight!

It feels like just yesterday that I pitched myself to both direct and choreograph. But that was September. SEVEN months ago, and a lot has happened in that time.

I'm super excited, and also super nervous, as I always am when I open a new show. You think that I would be used to it by now, but nope! And especially with this show--so much is on my shoulders. I don't want to let down the company in anyway--I want this show to blow everyone away. And I think it will. The cast is incredible--such amazing women with great energy and hilarious ideas. I laughed my ass off night after night in rehearsal. The costumes are phenomenal--I can't wait to see them in the stage lights. And my tech team is the tops.

I am super proud of myself. And tonight, when the first night's bows are done at 10pm, I will breathe a little easier. :)

In other news--yesterday Fuzzy and I celebrated 10 years together! INSANE! What a great decade of love. And it's Easter weekend! Happy Easter, y'all!!

xoxo
